Hello Everyone!  Welcome to the third edition of The Word.  We are an entertainment magazine designed to give you of an idea of what's going on in and around the south coast.  The Word is not biblical but we do want to enlighten you as to the happenings around town.  We showcase local sports, dining, clubs, music and art, along with other important stuff anywhere from San Clemente to Newport.  The Word is a community magazine, so please let us know of anything exciting that we should cover: shows, contests, bands, legendary people, up-and-coming stars, interesting activities like rock climbing (J- Tree) downhill biking, kayak fishing, spear fishing (any fishing) as well as our staples - the four S's (surf, skate, skim, snowboard).  Oh yeah, there is nothing else like a good bear story.  Give us the W's and we'll give you some ink.  As for the industries that support and supply this stuff – get involved with the magazine and buy some ink.  The Word wants to thank all of our sponsors for making this magazine possible and we hope all of our readers find time to visit them soon.  Enjoy.
